How to use this app
Choose a study mode
Use Flashcards for individual recall, Family ↔ Genus to learn taxonomy groups, or Binomial ↔ Common to connect scientific and everyday names.
Use the flashcards
Choose the question direction and optionally filter by family. Tap the card to reveal the answer. Press Got it, Again, or Previous.
Turn speech on
Select an installed voice, test it, then switch speech on. The app reads the front of each card and reads the answer when the card flips.
Play the matching games
Tap one item in the left column, then its match in the right column. Correct pairs stay completed. Change the round size or press New round whenever you like.
Use quick update commands
On the main menu, type simple commands such as “turn speech on”, “open the family game”, or “add Corymbia ficifolia | Red-flowering Gum | Myrtaceae”. Tap 🎙️ and allow microphone access when Android asks. Speak naturally and the command is applied when you stop talking.
Edit or import the list
Open Edit / Import List to add trees manually, replace the list, remove entries, export a backup, or restore the built-in 80-tree list.
Your progress is saved
Correct answers, attempts, best streak, voice choice and edited tree data are stored in this browser on this device.

Family ↔ Genus
Tap one family, then tap a genus that belongs to that family. Repeated family cards are intentional.
Binomial ↔ Common Name
Tap a binomial name, then its common name.
Edit / Import Tree List
